were MAILED if your child is going to be REQUIRED or RETAINED. Please be looking
for these letters. Some students will not receive letters. Your child's letter is
determined by their grades, ITBS, STAAR results, and teacher recommendation. If
you have any questions, once you receive your letter, please call the school and
speak with the office. Letters will say one of three things:
- Summer Help Recommended - There were some concerns about your child's progress and
a summer program would be beneficial but they are promoted.
- Summer School Required - In order to be promoted to the next grade your child is
required to go to summer school.
