Volleyball Games: JH and HS volleyball season are underway; the girls need your support during their upcoming games. Please come out:

• Monday, Sept. 18: JH vs. Bremond/Buckholts (HERE) @ 5:00 - 3 Games

• Tuesday, Sept. 19: HS JVb/JVa/V vs. Thorndale (HERE) @ 5:00

• Saturday, Sept. 23: HS JVb/JVa/V vs. Holland (HERE)  @ 1:00

• Monday, Sept. 25: JH vs. Thorndale (HERE) @ 5:00- 3 Games

• Tuesday, Sept. 26: HS JVb vs. Normangee(HERE) @ 4:00; JVa/V vs. Bartlett (HERE) @ 5:00


JH Fall Baseball: Come out and cheer on our boy's JH baseball team:

• Monday. Sept: 18: JH vs. RTC   (HERE)  @ 4:30

• Monday, Sept 25: JH vs. N. Zulch  (HERE) @ 4:30


Volleyball Pep Rally: We will have a Volleyball Pep Rally on Tuesday, Sept. 19 @ 2:30. Come out and support our Mustangs!


Mumford Fundraiser: Students are busy selling cookie dough, cinnamon rolls, kolaches, pumpkin rolls and all kinds of great things that will be here just in time for the Thanksgiving break! We need all the students to get out and sell to help our school. If you have not bought any of these food products yet, be sure to order yours today, because there are some great tasting items! Students will be receiving prizes for being top sellers and special money prizes are being rewarded also! The sale ends on Tuesday, September 26, so be sure that your children are out there selling! Turn in your money each day and help raise money for our school and sell, sell, sell!

Six Weeks Tests: Our first six weeks tests are coming up for grades 2 -12; tests will take place Monday, Sept. 25 - Wednesday, Sept. 27. Please be sure that your child is studying for these tests. Check with assignments sheets and teachers to know which test will take place on what day. These tests count as 2 test grades on your child's 6 weeks grade.


PSAT: The PSAT study guides will be going home today with sophomores and eligible juniors.  Students can be using these guides to study for the upcoming test which occurs on Wednesday, October 11, during the morning hours of school. Testing will begin at 7:55; students need to bring several #2 pencils and a calculator.  Students who are juniors and have been given the opportunity to re-test this school year, will need to notify Ms. McDonough that they DO want to take the test by Monday, October 2.   


Picture Day: Mark your calendars now. Picture day is scheduled for Wednesday, October 4, for individual school pictures. These pictures will be the ones that will be published in the yearbook so smile and be ready for the camera!


2016-17 Yearbooks: The Mustang Yearbooks from 2016-17 were distributed last Friday; if you did not pick up your book please come pick it up at the front office. If you did not purchase a book there are a few left to be sold, they are $50 and can be bought at the front office.


Student Holiday: On Friday, October 6, there will be NO school. School will resume on Monday, October 9 at 7:40. Please mark your calendars!


Open House/Book Fair: Our Open House will be on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 4:00 - 5:30. Come out and visit with your child's teachers and see current work they have been doing. Also, we have our book fair open that evening in the Mustang Room for all to enjoy!


High School Class Officers: Congratulations to the following students who were elected as class officers.  Senior Class: President - Cain Knapp, Vice Pres. - Isabelle Baldwin, Sec./Treas. - Maria Rodriguez; Junior Class: President - Raquan Robertson, Vice Pres. - Kaylee Hawes, Sec./Treas. - Calla Vinton; Sophomore Class: President - Haven Leath, Vice Pres. - Alondra Fernandez, Sec./Treas. - Coleman Fazzino; Freshman Class: President - Emma Hoose, Vice Pres. - Lanie Davis, Sec./Treas. - Jazmin Longoria.  Congratulations to all these students!


Senior Students Transcript Request: Any senior applying to a college or university needs request a high school transcript to be sent to that perspective college. Please let Ms. McDonough know which college you are applying to so that a transcript can be sent off.
